What will you learn during the course?
In the Law program, you will develop an in-depth knowledge of various areas of law, from civil law and criminal law to corporate law and human rights. You will learn how laws are created, how to draft legal documents, and how to resolve legal issues. You will develop analytical skills and gain insight into the ethical and societal role of law.
Practical experience and current themes
The program offers many practice-oriented elements. You will gain experience in the courtroom during simulations, work on legal cases, and undertake internships at law firms, government agencies, or legal departments of companies. You will delve into current legal issues such as privacy legislation, international disputes, and sustainability in law. This will prepare you well for a career as a jurist, lawyer, or judge.
Duration and costs of the program
The full-time Law program lasts three years (for an accelerated track) or four years and starts in September. The tuition fee is €2,530 per year (statutory rate 2025-2026). Additionally, there are costs for books, legal reference materials, and any travel for internships. The part-time or dual variant has different study durations and rates.
